A free modding tool for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will be released on May 21st

Three weeks ago, limited testing of The Witcher 3 REDkit began on Steam, and today CD Projekt announced that the toolkit will be available to everyone on May 21, including GOG and the Epic Games Store.

All owners of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt will receive it completely free. Even one of the game developers, mission designer Philipp Weber, managed to try out The Witcher 3 REDkit. The Witcher 3 workshop on Steam will probably also be fully launched in the near future.

The Witcher 3 REDkit editor is based on the tools used to create the game. Modders will have almost unlimited freedom. Those who wish will be able to change the game to their liking by modifying tasks, items, weapons, characters, plot, locations and animation.
