CD Projekt Red added an Easter egg with a sad Keanu Reeves to the Cyberpunk 2077 metro

Cyberpunk 2077 received a major update yesterday that added a number of fixes and new features, including a working subway system. The new transportation system will give you more insight into the pedestrian experience of Night City, including some random scenes on the train. One such scene was a recreation of a famous meme featuring Keanu Reeves.

The meme in question is known as “Sad Keanu,” and it features actor Keanu Reeves (who plays Johnny Silverhand in Cyberpunk 2077 ), who sits on a bench and casually eats some food, looking at the ground with a tired expression on his face. The original photo was taken around 2010 by photographer Ron Asadorian and has since been widely shared online.

To find Sad Keanu/Sad Johnny, you need to update the game to version 2.1. Afterwards, head to one of the newly opened metro stations. In the subway, you have the choice of either fast travel or a first-person ride through the game's subway system. Select the last option by clicking "Ride the Subway."

Sad Keanu is one of at least two random events that can happen on the train. You can just spam the "Take the Subway" option until you find him.
