Gothic shooter Trench Tales announced

Developer Alexander Ponomarev, who worked on such games as: Prey, Path of Exile, Call of Duty Black Ops III, Rise of the Tomb Raider, announced a new project on Kickstarter called Trench Tales. This is a third-person shooter in a gothic style, for which Talking Drums was founded and published by Crytivo.

The game takes place in the alternate world of Verdun, which is devastated by war. The main character gets there by the will of mysterious forces and we need to figure out how to return to our world by studying the Gothic reality between the First and Second World Wars. In addition to the usual firearms, supernatural skills will be available from the arsenal: time dilation, attacks with clots of energy, seeing through walls, healing one’s own wounds.

A release on Steam is planned for March 2025, and a console release is also planned. At this stage, the game needs to collect 60 thousand dollars to succeed, and the company has less than 4 thousand in its account so far.
