The recent buzz surrounding Cillian Murphy's possible involvement in the upcoming Far Cry 7 has been debunked. The rumors began after well-known insider xj0nathan shared images on X/Twitter, one of which featured Murphy. However, according to j0nathan, the actor will not appear in the game. He indicated that the images meant something else that remained a mystery.
Jonathan, known for his Assassin's Creed leaks, added intrigue with a post featuring a crab, bombs and the number 7, but emphasized that Murphy's role as a villain was never mentioned. This clarification came 12 hours after the first post, leaving fans guessing.
It was previously reported that Far Cry 7, known internally as Project Blackbird, takes place on the fictional island of Gimsan and has a non-linear plot in which choice matters. The player's mission involves rescuing a kidnapped family from the conspiratorial group "Sons of Truth", the game is scheduled for release in the fall of 2025.
