New additions for Hitman 3 will be deployed on the locations of the trilogy
IO Interactive plans to expand HITMAN III with new additions, but don't count on new levels — DLC action will unfold on the locations of the trilogy. Apparently, players should expect the appearance of new goals on already familiar levels, and, possibly, changes in the locations themselves.
We'll definitely release expansions, but we haven't decided on the content yet. Right now we don't plan to create new levels like a bank or an island.
For HITMAN 2 the developers have released two new locations — New York and Harbor. Despite the status of additional levels, the levels turned out to be large-scale and creative, and some fans consider them one of the best in the trilogy.
We look with great interest at existing levels to rethink and change them. This time we have the whole trilogy in front of us.
HITMAN III was released on January 20 on all current platforms, and its development paid off in less than a week. IOI is currently working on a James Bond game that could be the start of a trilogy of its own.
