Patch 1.31 for Cyberpunk 2077 - bug fixes and improved detailing of wet surfaces

Although the release of Cyberpunk 2077 took place in December 2020, it was only after a series of patches that the gaming community could truly appreciate it, since the number of bugs in the release version was simply huge. The last major patch for 1.3 appeared less than a month ago, so don't expect any major updates anytime soon.

On the other hand, given the experience of past mistakes, the developers of the CD Projekt RED studio are constantly working to improve their project and do not forget to remind the gaming community about this.

One of these "reminders" is a fresh patch 1.31, already available for use on all platforms at once. The patch contains quite a lot of changes in several aspects of the game at once.

Cyberpunk

Gameplay:

  • Fixed a bug that caused certain cooldown speeding abilities to slow cooldown.

  • Fixed a bug with — before that, certain basic types of quest items were not removed from the inventory after they were upgraded.

  • Adjusted the detection speed of a crouching player to match the selected game difficulty.

  • The height of the boosted jump has been adjusted to normal.

  • Fixed the falling animation when V with the Rock ability activated gets into a motorcycle accident.

Assignments:

  • During the introductory quest "Trouble Never Comes Alone" the vehicle no longer gets stuck between the road barrier and the barrier, preventing the mission from being completed.

  • Fixed an issue with Judy not being in the van on Chpok Street.

  • Removed a bug with the absence of the car "Torton Galena GA40xt"Rattler“"" in a certain area. Also, after completing the mission, this car will no longer have invulnerability.

  • Fixed a bug with the reappearance of the goal "Get to the place of the final battle" in the log.

  • Fixed a bug with the "Wait for the nomads" objective in the "Don't Call Saul" mission, which didn't disappear after Vee arrived at the meeting place. Removed a bug in the same mission that prevented starting a conversation with nomads.

Graphics:

  • A bug in the operation of the wet surfaces system has been fixed. For example, now after the rain the roads will always look wet. Wet surfaces will also become even more detailed.

  • Electromagnetic weapon fire will no longer cause a blinding flash.

  • Fixed a bug with Carol's animation during the "Don't Call Saul" mission.

  • Hair and eyebrows have been removed for characters that should not have had them originally.

Interface:

  • There is no longer a bug with missing descriptions of scripts and modifications for clothes.

Optional:

  • Fixed a network error that occurred when requesting in-game rewards after registration.

  • Improved GPU memory usage on PlayStation consoles.
