The full game Warhammer: Chaosbane: Slayer Edition is now available on Xbox

Game publisher NACON and developer Eko Software are pleased to announce the launch of Warhammer: Chaosbane: Slayer Edition on the next generation Xbox console. The Slayer Edition is the most complete version of the game, including all DLC content (12 packs in total), all additional content (including Keela and Chaos Tower) and 4K 60FPS speed. It also contains a sixth character, the Witch Hunter, and additional content.

Jurgen can switch between rapier and pistol, has some special abilities related to sacred fire, and is a trap class capable of dropping springsteel bear traps designed to trap heretics and demons. The new DLC will arrive alongside the Slayer Edition bundle, which contains the base game and all of its expansions, plus a major update.

The update includes new zones, expanded hub areas, an additional 4K texture pack, and an expanded bestiary. The last addition sounds particularly worthwhile, as the lack of enemy variety was one of Chaosbane's weaknesses. Now you'll face more Khorne-style enemies, the demon princes of all four Chaos gods, and rats. 

The full patch notes are quite extensive and include bug fixes and rebalancing for all five existing classes (the fifth, gnome engineer, was previously added for free). The Witch Hunter expansion is now available on Steam.
