The next chapter of The Elder Scrolls Online - Blackwood - will be released in June
Bethesda Softworks and ZeniMax Media Studios have announced that The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood will be released June 1st on PC and June 8th — on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. There is still no word on an update for Xbox Series X and S and PlayStation 5.
Together with the expansion, The Elder Scrolls Online will begin the "Gate of Oblivion" story, parts of which will be released throughout 2021. Set 800 years before The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, you'll have to relive the plot of the Daedric Prince Mehrunes Dagon.

Oblivion Gate Adventure consists of:
- Fire of Ambition add-ons — Coming to PC on March 8 and March 16 — on Xbox One and PlayStation 4;
- chapters "Black Forest" — will be released June 1 on PC and June 8 — on Xbox One and PlayStation 4;
- dungeon additions — will be released in the third quarter of the year;
- plot addition — will be released in the fourth quarter of the year.
The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood Major Expansion Continues the Oblivion Gates Adventure Story and will offer over 30 hours of main story. In addition, it will include:
- new area — Black Forest;
- Oblivion Gates related story;
- new satellite system;
- 12 player challenge "Stone Grove";
- Oblivion portals;
- New lairs, dungeons, world bosses and quests.
