The next Starfield update will add city maps and new shipbuilding features

Bethesda Game Studios has been promising new content and features for Starfield for some time now, and while the updates for the space RPG haven't been as big as many had hoped, more new details have emerged about when to expect them.

In a recent interview with Kinda Funny Games, Starfield director Todd Howard revealed that Starfield's next big update will also add new features, including the addition of city maps, a feature the community has been hoping to see since the game's release last year.

Howard went on to add that the next Starfield update will also include "some great shipbuilding stuff." According to Howard, the update will be announced sometime this week, after which it will release in beta on Steam (which means it should be available to all players in another couple of weeks or so).

Starfield is available on Xbox Series X/S and PC.
