Users express support for the creators of Yuzu and offer financial assistance to defend themselves in court against Nintendo

Today it became known that Nintendo filed a lawsuit against the creators of the Yuzu emulator, accusing them of supporting piracy and demanding the termination of development of the emulator and compensation for damages.

Having learned about the lawsuit, users decided to support the developers of the emulator : Many of them are calling on the Yuzu team not to lose heart and open fees so that they can be financially supported to sue the Japanese corporation and continue developing the emulator. Considering that users donate an astronomical $30,000 per month for the development of the emulator alone, the creators of the emulator will probably be able to collect enough money for legal costs and rebuff from Nintendo.

It is not known whether the creators of Yuzu plan to sue Nintendo, but in 2000 's, the Japanese corporation has already suffered a bitter defeat in court against the creators of emulators - there is a chance that history will repeat itself this time.
