A new add-on for the game Doom Eternal has been released

New DLC Doom Eternal - Ancient Gods: Part One is out, featuring both the usual sci-fi levels and the base levels fans have come to expect , as well as some outlandish Amid Evil-esque environments.

In case you missed the "Eternal" plot, it boils down to this: after killing the resurrected Icon of Sin and the Maik matriarch, the forces of Hell have now overrun the realm of the Maiks.

To fill this power vacuum, Doomslayer returns to Urdak to end the fight.

As the name suggests, this is the first of a two-part DLC that introduces three new campaign levels. It also introduces three new support runes to help you survive the carnage, as well as several new skins for Doomslayer.

 The Ancient Gods, Part One turned out to be independent not for everyone: only for those who purchased the addon separately from DOOM Eternal or bought a subscription for the first year.
