The Need for Speed ​​video game racing series, or simply NFS, has been around for over 20 years. New projects appear almost every year, and in some years two were released at once. As a result, Electronic Arts, the publisher of the series, has accumulated 21 NFS games, including Need for Speed: No Limits, released this winter, designed specifically for mobile platforms.

The owners of the series already have experience in reissuing old parts, here it is worth remembering Hot Pursuit and Most Wanted. However, this time they decided to surprise gamers with a new twist in the history of NFS — completely restart the series, so to speak, start all over again. Therefore, the upcoming project was simply called Need for Speed ​​without any additions.
