Angry gamers have appealed to the UK government to ban publishers from "killing" gamers. games

Multiplayer racing game The Crew officially ended in early April when Ubisoft shut down its servers. Despite the fact that the game was released more than 10 years ago and received a reserved reception from players, its closure provoked a real scandal. Users who lost access to the game became furious and began demanding a refund of the funds spent on the game. Other players decided to resort to more radical actions and turned to the UK government.

Users created a petition on the official platform of the UK government, designed to lobby for laws and proposals from citizens of the country. Gamers demand a ban on video game publishers "killing" games and introduce penalties for ceasing support for projects. Since the petition appeared, it has managed to collect more than 4 thousand verified signatures.

The petition posted on the UK Parliament website says the following:

The petition must collect 10,000 signatures for the government to respond on it, and if there are 100,000 signatures, it can become the subject of discussion in the UK Parliament.
