Dark Souls: Nightfall fan mod introduce a Bloodborne-style rally system

The developers are constantly improving things in Dark Souls Sequel so that fans can enjoy the gameplay. Soon, another addition will delight loyal fans of Dark Souls Sequel. The developers plan to create a Bloodborne style rally system.

The project, called Dark Souls: Nightfall, will be the most ambitious Dark Souls mod ever, including a completely overhauled world map, an updated combat system based on combat mod QuickSouls, and a brand new NPC with voice acting. As you can see from the above tweet, modders are using complex code to implement a Bloodborne-esque rally system in Dark Souls 1's creaky engine - when you get hit, an enemy attack will give you back some of your health.

It is not yet clear when Dark Souls: Nightfall will be released. The mod is currently under development.
