The combined size of Call of Duty Warzone and Modern Warfare will decrease with the release of the update
Fans of Call of Duty: Warzone have nothing to worry about in tomorrow's midseason update. While Black Ops - Cold War is getting new maps and modes, Warzone fans are getting a sniper rifle and some new operators.
But that doesn't mean our hard drives are safe - tomorrow's Warzone patch is a whopping 133GB download if you also have Modern Warfare installed. If not, then you are in a little better shape.
Here are the download sizes as mentioned in today's blog post:
- PC: 52.4 GB (Warzone only) / 133.6 GB (Warzone and Modern Warfare)
- PlayStation 5 / PlayStation 4: 52.0 GB
- Xbox Series X / Series S / One: 57.8 GB
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare users will be able to choose which elements of the shooter to remove. In addition, after the update, the file size of Call of Duty: Warzone will decrease by 10.9 & ndash; 14.2 GB, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare — 30.6–33.6 GB depending on the platform.
Activision Blizzard has indicated that the update itself will be 7.4–14.8GB for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and 52–57.8GB for Call of Duty: Warzone or 133.6GB for both games.
Subsequent updates will be smaller.
