The creators of Halo Infinite spoke about the features of the PC version
Studio 343 Industriesreleased a video detailing the PC version of Halo Infinite. The shooter will support ultra-wide monitors — the development team adapted the cutscenes especially for them.
Also, the owners of such displays will be able to adjust the field of view and the location of interface elements. The shooter will get ray tracing, flexible graphics settings and an unlocked frame rate with the ability to set the maximum and minimum values.
You can control it with both a mouse and keyboard and with a gamepad, and the Xbox version also allows you to play with a keyboard and mouse. Interestingly, in the network mode, the selection of participants will be carried out not by platform, as usual, but by input devices.
The game has a multi-platform save transfer, a built-in anti-cheat system and a Lan-party mode for any devices connected to the local network. In the control settings, three different keys can be assigned to one action. The gameplay is synchronized with the illumination of input devices — so, for example, if a weapon runs out of ammo, the keyboard starts to glow red.
The studio is partnering with Razer to launch Halo-themed peripherals, and partnering with AMD to release a limited edition Radeon RX 6900 XT graphics card with a unique design.
Halo Infinite will release December 8, 2021. For the first time in the history of 343 Industries, the release will take place simultaneously on PC and consoles. The game will support Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. For a comfortable game on a PC, you need a video card of the GeForce RTX 2070 level.
