It became known when Call of Duty: Cold War Season 1 will start
Call of Duty: Black Ops - A giant update to the first season of the Cold War has arrived. In addition to the new maps, modes and weapons coming to Cold War itself, the first season will also add more weapons to Warzone and its first new map. Vozrozhdenie Island, an abandoned Soviet facility off the coast of Verdansk, promises to be a smaller and more intense alternative to the usual 150-player battle royale.
Because Season 1 content actually spans both Warzone and Cold War, expect a few patches to load for both games. So when exactly will the first season of the Cold War begin?
Last week, Activision announced that Call of Duty: Cold War Season 1 will launch in both Cold War and Warzone December 15 at 11:00 PM PST. If you live on the other side of the US, expect the tournament to start early Wednesday morning.
Here is the time converted to several other time zones:
- Pacific Standard Time (US) - 12/15 at 11:00 PM
- Eastern Standard Time (US) - 12/16 at 2:00 AM
- Greenwich Mean Time (UK) - 12/16 at 7:00 AM
- Australian Eastern Daylight Time (AUS) - 12/16 at 6:00 PM
If you don't see your time zone above, check this countdown timer to see how the release time is automatically converted to your region. It is worth noting that this "planned" the timing of the release of the first season, suggesting that there could be another delay if something happens.
