The unofficial PC version of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 received two patches: the size of the game was almost halved
The Brazilian developers of the unofficial port of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 have recently released two updates for the game: 1.3.6 and 1.3.7, which fixed many of the problems that were present in the game, and also added a number of pleasant innovations.
However, perhaps one of the most important innovations of the new updates is a new experimental setting - with it the user can apply compression to game files. According to the authors, this is a rather lengthy procedure, but it is worth it: the size of the game distribution is reduced from 250 GB to ~150 GB. In addition, the ability to conveniently switch the appearance of buttons from different gamepads, be it Xbox or Dualsense, has been added to the game settings.
At the moment, Sony has not yet announced an official port of the game for PC, but according to leaked internal documents Insomniac Games, its release is planned for 2025.
