Warner Bros. will release a restored director's cut of the Lord of the Rings trilogy. for re-release in the USA

Warner Bros. and Fathom Events have announced that the iconic Lord of the Rings trilogy will soon return to the big screen.

Three of Peter Jackson's films will once again be shown in US theaters in restored 4K resolution - these will be complete director's cuts. The re-release will begin on June 8 - on this day they will show The Fellowship of the Ring, June 9 - The Two Towers and June 10 - The Return of the King. It is currently unknown whether Warner Bros. plans. screening of the trilogy in other countries.

Also, 2024 should please fans with the anime film The Lord of the Rings: War of the Rohirrim. And we can’t please you with the second season of the Rings of Power series from Amazon.
