Black Mesa (formerly known as Black Mesa: Source) — a remake of the 1998 cult computer game Half-Life on the Source engine. It is a modification for the Half-Life 2 game. The developers intend to recreate the original Half-Life universe using the advanced features of the Source engine, rework all the textures, models and levels, and create a realistic gameplay. There will be no new weapons in the game, however, they decided to add a "sprint" function to the H.E.V hazmat suit. Also, the creators of the modification said that they were going to make a fully synchronous storyline, only changing it a little, without disturbing the balance. Achievements are also planned to be introduced into the game.
