Bethesda has removed Denuvo protection from GhostWire: Tokyo

As it became known, today Bethesda released a patch for the PC version in which it removed Denuvo protection from the game GhostWire: Tokyo.

The size of the game's EXE file has decreased by 269 MB. The case with this game is quite unique: the fact is that the game was originally released without Denuvo protection and was hacked, but then Bethesda for some reason decided to add Denuvo protection along with a major update to Spider's Thread.

Apparently, according to the publisher's plan, this was supposed to spur sales of the game. It is unknown whether their plan worked, but it is good that the game is apparently now finally free of Denuvo protection. Thus, now all users will have access to the current version of the game.
