Risk of Rain 2 is out now on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch

The famous sequel Risk of Rain 2 from Hopoo Games is out on Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Switch.

Development on the console versions of Risk of Rain 2 has lagged slightly behind the PC game throughout Early Access, but Hopoo has focused on finishing work on PS4, Xbox One, and Switch since the release of version 1.0 for PC in August.

A new update that adds the finishing touches to Risk of Rain 2 on consoles introduces new story cutscenes, an end stage and boss, as well as a tenth playable character known as the Captain. The latter can stun targets and is equipped with a shotgun that narrows its spread when charged.
