Dawn of Man — A unique historical real-time strategy game with an isometric camera view from the creators of Planetbase. You have to take control of the settlement of the first modern people and lead them through the centuries, fighting for survival. The game will begin during the Stone Age and continue all the way to the Iron Age, spanning over 10,000 years of human prehistory. You will have to help people survive by expanding and developing your settlement, as well as fighting all the challenges of the environment.
Animals were a vital source of food and resources for ancient people. Use their meat to feed your people and use their skin and bones to make clothes and craft the tools you'll need in your fight for life. Fight mammoths, woolly rhinos, ancient bison, megaloceros, cave lions and other species that roamed the earth at that time.
Collect a variety of food and non-food resources from the world around you: fruits, berries, water, wood, flint, stone, ores. Use them to cook food, make tools, build huts and workshops in your settlement.
Balance between food and population, because each new discovery and new milestone in your development will make your life easier and contribute to population growth, but will also create new problems: increased demand for food, morale problems and more frequent raider attacks.
