Factorio — this is a game about mining, building factories, automating production and fighting aggressive fauna on an alien planet. You are a lone survivor of a space expedition stranded on the surface of an alien and hostile world. With only rocks and ore deposits under your feet, your last hope for survival is to rebuild automatic machines and factories from scratch to produce the equipment and defenses you need to survive in this strange world. In addition to developing and maintaining an army of mechanisms, you will need to protect the factories and yourself from hostile alien hordes that seek to level your hard-built factories to the ground.
